Infectious Disease News to launch online Outbreak Tracker

The daily updated source, found on, will contain relevant emerging outbreak information

Thorofare, NJ – and Infectious Disease News, published by SLACK Incorporated, have announced the upcoming launch of its online Outbreak Tracker — a daily updated website component that will provide information on the latest emerging diseases. The tracker will live on's Infectious Disease News website and is scheduled to launch in January 2014.

The tracker will display the most current data on global outbreaks that is being released from such organizations as The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). This includes case counts, mortality rates and transmission and treatment information. Links to the most current headlines on each outbreak will also be on hand, so users can find all relevant outbreak information in one easy-to-access place.
