SLACK Incorporated Wins ASHPE Awards

THOROFARE, NJ – SLACK Incorporated’s editorial staff has garnered three awards in the annual competition of the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors (ASHPE).

The awards, in three categories, are as follows:

HCV Next — May 2016 article “Chipping Away at Medical Restrictions to DDA Coverage” won the Gold Award for Best Legislative/Government Article.

HCV Next — October 2016 article “Bringing Hepatology to the People: How Community-Based Care Succeeds” won the Bronze Award for Best Profile.

Cardiology Today and Healio.com/Cardiology won the Silver Award for Best News Coverage in 2016.

ASHPE recognizes outstanding editorial and design excellence and achievement in health care publications. The annual competition provides an opportunity for editors to measure their efforts and publications against the best the health care sector has to offer.
