Every meeting is unique. From selecting a site to finalizing the speakers, hundreds of
variables could affect the outcome of your meeting. With more than 40 years of meeting
management experience, SLACK has fine tuned a system that limits the impact of those
variables and, in doing so, improves your odds of success.
Because your meeting is unlike any other, SLACK designates a meeting manager who is best
suited to meet your needs and goals. Ultimately responsible for the success of your meeting,
the manager will coordinate the meeting planning and marketing phases, as well as provide
on-site support during and after the meeting.
In addition, the meeting manager will: oversee site selection; negotiate hotel contracts;
develop budgets; coordinate speakers and faculty; assist with the production of the program
books; schedule and host pre-meeting briefings with outside suppliers; manage SLACK personnel
in all onsite activities; negotiate contracts; and prepare and distribute a final
evaluation.
