Medical Director - Medical Communications, Clinical Strategy and Content Development

Healio Strategic Solutions, a full-service provider of medical communications solutions and services tailored to meet the informational and educational needs of physicians and healthcare professionals worldwide, is actively searching for a Medical Director to develop content for promotional and disease state awareness programs to be delivered as live events and/or as digital and print media.  Qualified applicants will have experience providing clinical strategy and content development within a medical communications agency.

Strategic Development:

SLACK News Editorial Internship - Fall 2019

Part-Time Digital Advertising Coordinator

Program Manager


This fast-paced position is responsible for managing all aspects of industry expert theaters/live events from inception to completion.  Healio Strategic Solutions is looking for a team member who is quick thinking, solution driven and loves to travel.  The primary aspect of the Program Manager is to oversee and ensure the success of sponsored industry expert theaters through working with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing/design, IT) as well as clients and faculty.  Collaboration and strong communication skills are a must for this role.

The Program Manager is responsible for budget maintenance and reconciliation, managing external suppliers, keeping programs on time and focused on primary objectives, providing ongoing updates to internal team members and client contact(s), and management. In order to perform these functions, the Program Manager must have strong verbal and written communication skills. He/she must also be highly organized, have experience working with cross-department teams, be adept at multi-tasking and prioritizing activities, have strong client management skills, and be able/eager to motivate others. The Program Manager should have experience in executing diverse tactics including IETs, standalone meetings, virtual meetings, roundtables, etc.  Experience with medical legal submission (MLR) required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  


Program Management

  • Manage IETs and live events through to completion ensuring projects are delivered on target and meet the established objectives
  • Work with outside vendors and internal staff to plan and coordinate projects from inception, manage work flow, budget tracking, and ensure completion on time, within costs, and to required quality standards.



  • Maintain and manage timely and professional written and verbal communications with clients and faculty members.
    • Send invitations/confirmation letters/final logistics/welcome packets and post program evaluations
  • Ensure customer expectations are met on all levels of program activity.



  • In coordination with the marketing/design team, develop any marketing piece (i.e. registration website, postcard, brochure, AD. etc) , on-site handout materials (program books) and final evaluation reports. 
  • Provide ongoing recruitment program development by managing the marketing plan, circulation, review, and approval of all marketing pieces.



  • To be able to negotiate and understand clauses within hotel contracts
  • Know how to prepare set up sheets and review banquet event orders (BEO’s) from hotel
  • Travel onsite to all assigned programs/events



  • Manage budgeting, financial monitoring, and reconciliation of individual projects.

UX Designer

The UX Designer will lead creative design efforts from concept through completion. The role entails being a solutions finder and a self-starter, requires proven creative skills and the ability manage client requests and expectations. The UX Designer works closely with the Art and Creative Directors, design teammates and the Chief Experience Officer.  Essential duties include:  balance UI design, user needs and business goals to create intuitive web experiences; work closely with art and creative directors, writers, developers, designers, and production to brainstorm, concept, design and implement online and email; rapid prototyping and wireframing to illustrate users' needs and to help refine business requirements; and clearly communicate and document your design decisions, based on UI and UX standards, research and data-based design criteria.  Requirements include:  knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Responsive Design is a must; knowledge of design fundamentals including information design, visual design, industry UI standards for desktop, tablets, smart phones and web-based applications; extensive experience in applying UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design; clear verbal and visual communication and expert knowledge of Photoshop, HTML, Dreamweaver, CSS, UXPin (or similar prototype software), Illustrator, InDesign; art school/college degree with 3+ years UX Design experience.  Online portfolio is required.
